The rooms at Ben Lettery Hostel are basic but comfy with a shared bathroom. I loved the quadruple room with its carpeted floor and heating - it felt cozy! The dormitory room was cool too, with a shared bathroom boasting a refreshing shower.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom arrangement. Do note that others might not mind it at all.

Location was amazing, right in the middle of nowhere but still close to town. The views of the lake and mountains were stunning, and waking up to sheep walking around was memorable. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the facilities felt new and modern.
We couldn't even fit all our luggage and had no space for our personal belongings close to the bed. The dorm room door was a hassle to open and close with the key.

The rooms at Ben Lettery Hostel are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a youthful adventure like mine. I loved the shared bathroom, as it gave me a chance to meet other like-minded travelers. The carpeted floor and heating made the quadruple room feel like a home away from home.
Personally, I didn't love the shared bathroom. But hey, some people might actually enjoy the social aspect of it.

For the price we paid, we got amazing value and a room that was clean and comfortable. The location of the hostel at the foot of Ben Lettery was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Food for breakfast could be improved with the addition of shower gel in the bathroom and larger mugs for tea or coffee.

The shared kitchen had everything we needed to whip up some sick meals. The tour desk hooked us up with the best activities, like hiking up Ben Lettery for epic views. The luggage storage kept our stuff safe while we went on adventures. Can't wait to come back!
We wished there was a chill hangout spot where we could party and meet other young peeps. It would've been dope to have a common room with cool vibes and music.

We were thrilled with our stay at Ben Lettery. The enchanting location and recently restored charm of the structure made for a truly fairy-like experience. The kind staff gave us a warm welcome, and the clean rooms and well-stocked kitchen met all our needs. The breathtaking morning view and complementary breakfast were delightful touches. Despite a small flaw of being a bit cold, we highly recommend bringing a sweater for those who get chilly easily. we would gladly stay at Ben Lettery again and highly recommend it to others.

We loved the location of the hostel, nestled in the middle of Connemara's countryside. The fact that it was in the middle of nowhere and still close to town was a great combination. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the hostel was very clean. The highlight for us was the opportunity to climb Ben Lettery, which is located right at the foot of the hostel. We would recommend taking the left path as it offers better views. Downloading a map beforehand is a great idea. The view from the top was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt safe throughout our stay and had no reason to complain.
